Pick your exact Java Tree
At Squawk Shop, we do not leave you guessing what your Java Tree will look like. We have heard way too many horror stories of people spending a fortune and ending up with a tree they are not happy with.
So we took the guesswork out of it.
Every Java Tree Playstand is a true one of one. The photos you see are of the real tree you will receive, and the Tree ID you choose is the exact stand that ships to your door. Pick the shape, branch layout, and overall vibe that fits your home and your flock, then select your Tree ID on the product page to lock it in.
Made from real Java or coffee wood, these stands are built for daily parrot life: perching, climbing, stretching, and hanging out like they own the place.
How to choose the right Java Tree?
Every Java Tree is one-of-a-kind, so the “right” one comes down to your bird, your space, and how you want them to use it.
1) Match the tree to your bird’s size + confidence
- Small/medium birds usually do best with more “ladder-like” branches and shorter hops.
- Large parrots love thicker, sturdier branches and wider spacing for climbing and balance.
- If your bird is a little unsure, look for more branches close together.
2) Look at branch layout (this matters more than people think)
Choose based on what your bird actually does:
- Climber / explorer: lots of branches, lots of routes, more “chaos tree” energy
- Lounger / perch potato: fewer branches, bigger main perches, more open space
- “I must be higher than everyone” bird: taller profile and a clear top perch
3) Think about your room + where it will live
- Measure your space and check your ceiling height.
- If it’s going near a wall, a tree with branches mostly on one side can fit better.
- If it’s in an open area, a more balanced “spread” looks great and gives access from all sides.
4) Choose your “cleanup style”
All bases are the same size, but the branch spread changes where mess lands.
- Wider branch spread = more play area, potentially more scatter.
- More compact trees = easier “contained” zone.
5) Pick your exact Tree ID
Once you find the one you love, select the Tree ID on the product page.
That Tree ID is the exact tree you’ll receive — no substitutes.
